3rd Human and Translational Immunology Conference, October 23-28, Rhodes, Greece

The 3rd Human & Translational Immunology Conference took place between 23/10/2023 – 28/10/2023 on the island of Rhodes, Greece.

The conference was organized by Peter Katsikis at Erasmus University Medical Center, Bali Pulendran at Stanford University, Stephen Schoenberger at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, Jamie Wilson, Nature Immunology, Roxane Tussiwand, National Institutes of Health NIH, Bethesda, USA, Ken Ishii Ph.D., The Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, Yvonne Bordon, Nature Reviews Immunology, London, UK and Lisa Butterfield. University of California San Francisco, USA.

The purpose of this international conference was to present current developments in human and translational immunology in a setting that fosters discussion and networking. More than 105 attendees participated in a very successful conference which brought together leading scientists from all over the world. A number of travel awards were provided to PhD students and postdoctoral scientists.  Additional travel awards were provided to scientists from low/middle income countries. The conference awarded a total of 12 travel awards to PhD students and postdoctoral scientists selected from the abstract submissions and 6 travel awards for PhD students and scientists from low/middle income countries (LMIC).
