Joost Smolders M.D., Ph.D., has been appointed as the new head of the MS Center ErasMS and the Neuroimmunology Brain (NIB) Research Group in the Department of Immunology.  Joost is a trained neurologist and a talented MS neuroimmunology researcher that investigates multiple sclerosis (MS). Joost will have a joint appointment with the department of Neurology where he will perform his clinical service. Joost will be starting October 1^st and will give a seminar in the department of Immunology on October 10^th, 2019. September 2^nd Joost visited and met group leaders in the department and the NIB group. Please join me to welcome Joost on board and wish him great success in this new position.
